Storyboards are a way to demonstrate how someone would interact with a product or service, and how the design can help them reach their objectives (the user pathway). Storyboarding has been adopted from the film business. Storyboards illustrate the connection between a user and an item/service by exhibiting the essential experience points, step-by-step.
You can use a storyboard to share a concept with customers so they can understand concepts and design ideas. Storyboards can be used during design workshops to gather feedback and to help identify areas of improvement or missing elements of the experience. They can be considered as quick prototypes of the user experience, which also helps entrepreneurs to develop empathy with their customers.
