In this workshop Giulia Piu—a successfully exited entrepreneur and User Experience Design expert—will give you some tips on how you can improve your design and brand messaging.
You will also learn:
- What is UX Design and why it matters
- Some dos and don’ts of web design
To make the session more interactive, we are looking for volunteers that would like their website to be used as a case study.

More about Giulia Piu
Giulia is a Serial Entrepreneur and Product Design Leader with a passion for Human-centred Design and Innovation. After working for over 15 years as Digital Design Consultant across Milan, Melbourne, New York and London for blue-chips and startup companies, she co-founded and sold the award-winning startup BuddyBounce and founded BusinessDesignTools.com, a platform that supports entrepreneurs in their startup journeys since 2010.
She worked as a mentor and advisor to several accelerators including Google Launchpad, Barclays Rise, ContaminationLab and CASS City Starter. Giulia is currently Scientific Director at TheNetValue Academy, where she designs and develop industry-oriented training courses that focus on the strategic role human-centered design plays in the success of any company.
